What the score means
The score is ToolOut's review aid for contact details, resume sections, keywords, action verbs and measurable examples. It is not a result from an employer's applicant tracking system, an independently validated accuracy measure, or a prediction of an interview. Extraction can lose columns and formatting, so inspect the original document yourself.
Review suggestions in context
A missing keyword does not mean you should add an unfamiliar skill. Include only experience you can explain and substantiate. For a bullet such as “Maintained the reporting dashboard,” describe what you changed and the actual result. Use a number only when you have evidence for it.
Where your text goes
File text is extracted in your browser. Running a scan sends the extracted resume text and optional job description to ToolOut's server; AI analysis may also send that text to OpenRouter and its model provider. Remove details you do not want to share before scanning. See our privacy policy.
